We provide both electrolysis and laser hair removal services. Treatment areas include bikini area, back, chest, face, legs, arms and underarms. We also respect gender diversity!
What is the difference between electrolysis and laser hair removal?
With electrolysis, each hair follicle is treated by inserting a probe where all hair colors can be treated.  With a laser, a larger area is treated by sending a light to the hair follicle.  The laser is attracted to the melanin in the hair so it cannot treat blond, white or certain shades of red hair.  After laser treatments are completed, it is often necessary to clean up the hairs the laser could not treat by doing electrolysis treatments.
What can I expect during treatment?
After your consultation and all parties are ready to begin treatment, the client will wear safety eyewear to protect their eyes from the laser light.  The practitioner will guide the light to the treatment areas.  Each laser pulse may be preceded and followed by a short pulse of cooling spray.
Does it hurt?
Some clients may feel a slight discomfort with the laser pulse, sometimes described as a snapping feeling.  I have worked on clients ranging from ages 13 and 80 with no problems and they were excited to complete the hair removal process.
Are there any side effects?
Side effects may include purpura (a small bruise) if the client gets out in the sun.  Some redness and a very small amount of swelling may occur but will disappear in a few hours or less.
Please keep in mind that a laser must have pigment in the hair to remove it, so blonde, white and most red hairs cannot be removed with any laser on the market today.  Only electrolysis will remove those hairs permanently.
